Twelve passengers on a Croatia Airlines flight between Frankfurt and Zagreb on May 2 have tested positive to the Covid-19.
The flight had a total of 74 passengers and crew on board, all have been ordered to self-isolate.
Croatia Airlines has relieved the crew of their duties as a preventative measure. The carrier said it was fully cooperating with authorities, who have also requested details of passengers flying on the same route the following day.
Frankfurt has been Croatia Airlines’ only international destination for the past month-and-a-half, providing a vital link for Croatian nationals to return home. As of May 4, all passengers on board Croatia Airlines flights are required to wear a mask or face covering.
