Nigerian major carrier, Air Peace, is set to commence flight operations into Makurdi, Benue State, from Lagos and Abuja starting from December 7, 2020.
This is as the airline is also billed to resume flights to Uyo from Lagos and Abuja on the same date.
This was disclosed by the airline’s Spokesperson, Stanley Olisa, via a media statement released on Wednesday.
Olisa stated that the new connections would be operated thrice in a week; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
He noted that Makurdi has been on the airline’s radar for some time and is being launched to meet the needs of air travellers in the country who connect Lagos and Abuja to Makurdi and the other way round.
“It is our promise to interconnect every part of this country and foster economic relations between cities. Be assured that we are coming with more destinations. We are starting Johannesburg in December and India is in the offing”, he said.
According Olisa, ‘the Makurdi route launch reflects Air Peace’s enduring commitment to create more seamless connections and network options for its teeming customers across Nigeria, and we cannot relent in this regard’.
He reiterated the commitment of the airline to giving its passengers world-class flight experience, while adding “we will continue to provide safe and comfortable flights”.
Olisa urged the public to continue to fly Air Peace and experience its signature hospitality.
It would be recalled that Air Peace recently announced the commencement of flight operations into Johannesburg, South Africa is slated for December 16, 2020.
