Aviation Lions Club Conducts Free Screening In Lagos To Mark World Diabetes Day In Lagos

The Ikeja Aviation Lions club, over the weekend joined other organizations to mark the World Diabetes Day in Lagos

The exercise, led by the president, Engr Abdulrahman Musa, took place at the Ikeja local government council secretariat and attracted hundreds of people especially those with the ailment

Engr Musa said the exercise was part of their social responsibility in giving back to the society Lions are out to He further said that Lions are out to support, improve and develop the state of humanity.

“It is part of our social responsibility and in service to humanity because Lions are problem solvers and we have to care for people for a better society to exist.”

“Nobody is happy in any state of ailment, those you see today coming here for examination are happy to know their status. First is to know your state of health and secondly, you now know how to commence treatment and that is what the Ikeja Aviation Lions Club in conjunction with other District governors did today. We are happy to save lives.”

He announced that a similar exercise will be carried out for free eye test at the airport.

The Ikeja Aviation Lions club since the emergence of Engr Musa, has carried out free distribution of face mask, sanitizers to airport workers, travellers as well as organisation.

It has also carried out free planting exercises and distribution of different text books to Airport primary and secondary Schools Ikeja.
