The federal government has officially approved the appointment of Capt. Musa Shuaibu Nuhu as the new director general/ chief executive officer (DG/CEO) of the Nigerian civil aviation authority on Monday 16, march 2020.
He was nominated for the position in October 2019 to replace Captain Muthar Usman, erstwhile director of the organization a statement by Mr. James Odaudu, director public affairs.
Considering his knowledge and wealth of experience in the aviation sector, the committee found Capt. Musa Shuaibu Nuhu suitable and eligible to head over NCAA.
CAPT. Nuhu up until his appointment is Nigeria’s permanent representative to the international civil organization (ICAO) a pilot, safety expert, quality assurance lead auditor and artificial intelligence expert
The handover ceremony was held at the conference room aviation house, Ikeja and superintended by the acting DG CAPT. Sidi Abdullahi.
Capt. Nuhu resumed as the 7th director general of the authority, he appreciated the federal government for bestowing on him the responsibility and confidence to run the affairs of NCAA, promised to work hand in hand with the staff to actualize the organization mandate.
