Domestic airlines suspended flight services about two weeks ago. Were expected to resume operations by this week and next, but the situation took another dimension, as most airlines in the country have extended the suspension of flight services following the lockdown order in several states across the country due to the same factor
In a notice released by DANA Air to its customers titled, COVID-19: Update on Flight Suspension stated that tickets booked from March 26th, 2020 and resumption are valid till December 31, 2020 at no extra cost.
” Due to the ongoing efforts by Federal Government and Lagos State Government to curtail the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to extend our resumption till further notice”
“The health and safety of our employees, customers and community still remains our top priority and we will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates to our esteemed guests.
“However, all booked tickets between 26th of March, 2020 and the date of resumption are still valid for medication till 31st of December, 2020 at no extra cost. We pray that our collective fight against the virus yields improve results as soon as possible but in the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy, stay positive and help flatten the curve, we are in this together,” the statement read.
