Dana Begins Lagos-Asaba-Abuja Flight Services

As part of its strategic route expansion drive, Dana Air has introduced flight operations on the Lagos-Asaba-Abuja route.

The new operation offers travellers additional options and competitive airfares on the busy corridor.

Similarly, the Board of Directors of Dana Air has approved the appointment of Sukhjinder Paul Mann as the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), effective from November 22, 2021.

Media and Communications Manager of the airline, Kingsley Ezenwa, yesterday, said the new DCEO was expected to work with the team to bring new perspectives and fresh initiatives to the role to further strengthen the management team.

Ezenwa noted that Dana Air would also commence Asaba, Abuja flights and increase frequencies on other destinations ahead of the festive season.

He said: “We have a gradual route expansion programme and we intend to follow it through. The introduction of Asaba flights is strategic and as always, we will be offering reliable options to our guests, providing the best and affordable fares while ensuring that they continue to fly as safely and as seamless as possible.”

According to the airline, Mann is a Briton and has worked with many leading commercial airlines in Africa and across the globe at Senior Management and ‘C’ Level executive roles.

He has 29 years of experience in aviation, specifically, in the areas of airline operations, ground handling, airport management, finance, strategy, turnaround and commercial/business development and airline start-up projects.
