Delta Flight 2281 Makes Emergency Landing After A Bird Strike

A Delta flight from Atlanta to Washington was reported to have made an emergency landing after the cockpit windshield experienced a bird strike just immediately after takeoff at late hours of Sunday, May 9.

The sudden announcement of emergency landing was made by one of the pilots immediately after the incident, “Departure Delta 2281 yeah we’re going to have to turn back. We’ve got a cracked windshield. We’re going to be declaring an emergency and back to Atlanta.”

The Flight 2281 landed safely  back in Atlanta and everyone on board was reported safe.
