The EgyptAir Training Academy announced that it will launch a new A320neo simulator in mid-November, the first African airline to do so. It is designed and manufactured completely by L3 Harris apparatus.
The move comes as part of its emphasis on leadership, making it an international centre specialised in the various fields of training. It also reflects the airline’s keenness to keep pace with the highest international standards in the air transport industry.
Additionally, the simulator A220-300 will start operations in mid-February, with the approval of EASA FFS LEVEL D. It comes with an engine (PW1524G) completely designed and manufactured by FlightSafety.
In a related context, the academy is constantly looking to develop and improve training, by integrating new technologies into its full set of training simulators.
