After an evaluation of foreign pilots in Malaysia by the civil aviation authority of Malaysia (CAAM), which took place on Thursday, the regulatory body has temporally suspended pilots employed by domestic airlines, who have Pakistan license.
this came after South Asian aviation revealed that many have dubious qualifications/
CAAM said the pilots were employed with “local operators” such as flying school, flying clubs and training organisations.
The National Carrier, Malaysian airlines, Marlindo Air and Air Asia declined having Pakistan or foreign pilots.
Pakistan grounded almost half of its pilot following the discovery of their false qualification, since then, there has been a call globally to check and verify Pakistan pilots. Many of them are grounded and undergoing verification process at the moment.
