Air Peace One of Nigeria’s leading airlines as informed the public that its aircraft scheduled to operate a Benin-Lagos flight P47173 yesterday evening February 8, had a Bird Strike during landing at the Benin Airport which affected the engine.
In a statement released, the airline said the aircraft landed safely and the passengers embarked normally,
The management admits that the incident has led to delay in Benin-Lagos flight as the aircraft is currently grounded in Benin pending internal evaluation.
The airline added that, it has dispatched an alternate aircraft and a team to airlift the passengers of the affected flight.
The Management apologized for the inconveniences which might have caused by unforeseen incidence, reassuring its passengers and the public of the airline’s commitment to highest standards inline with global practice of safety and comfort.
