Air Peace Today evacuated another batch of 306 stranded Nigerians from the United Arab Emirate (UAE). The flight that conveyed the evacuees arrived the country at about 8.44am, Wednesday August 5th 2020.
Thousands of Nigerians have been stranded in various countries following the global lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic which has claimed close to a million lives.
The latest evacuation flight operated was disclosed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) via a tweet.
According to the tweet all the evacuees tested negative to the COVID-19 and will proceed on a 14day SELF-ISOLATION as mandated by NCDC and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
