The Nigerian flag carrier, Air Peace, had earlier announced that the airline ordered for thirteen new aircraft from Embraer and expects first batch of delivery of it’s 195-E2 Embraer by September.
This they revealed with images of the aircraft’s via a tweet in the late hours of Friday, July 31. Said the order was made on April 3rd, 2019.
With anticipation and excitement filled in the air, the airline yesterday announced that it will receive two new aircraft’s as the first batch delivery from Embraer and the countdown begins.
The carrier disclosed this via its official twitter handle on September 7, while stating that, they are the first African airline to acquire the E195-E2 Embraer aircraft.
“We can’t wait to have our two brand new Embraer 195-E2 aircraft later this September. We’re the first to fly this aircraft type in Africa. These are the first set of the 13 E195-E2 aircraft on firm order.”
“The acquisition will help us deliver more on our no-city-left-behind initiative while feeding long-haul flights from our Lagos hub. Counting down to delivery.”
