The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) yesterday, said the country’s airspace was not shut to international airlines as being speculated.
NAMA said the clarification was necessary as a result of insinuations in certain quarters that Nigerian Airports had been shut to international flights until the middle of October, 2020.
Indeed, such speculations are entirely untrue, Nigerian airports are not shut to foreign airlines” the General Manager, Public Affairs, NAMA, Khalid Emele, said in a statement.
The agency made this statement following the receipt of an All Operators Letter with reference NCAA/DG/AIR/11/16/152 from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NAMA issued an Aeronautical Information Circular.
