NIGERIA: Ethiopian Airlines to Resume Flights Operation to Enugu, October 1

After two years of suspended flight operation due to runway repairs, Ethiopia’s flag carrier is set to resume commercial flight operations to Enugu State in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

Ethiopian Airlines General Manager, Shimeles Arage, disclosed this stating that the carrier will operate three times a week with its B787 Dreamliner.

Days of Opeerations will be on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays of every Week for now.

Shimeles further said as “October 1 is the Nigerian Independence day and the Flight to Enugu on that day will reinforce Ethiopian Airlines Good relationship with Nigeria since the First Flight to Nigeria in 1960, “, he said.

Ethiopian Airlines was the only International Airline operating in Enugu before the closure of the Airport for Runway repairs. The Airport was Officially Opened to Domestic Flights in 2020 and to International flights in August 2021.

Ethiopian Airlines Operates to four Airports in Nigeria including Abuja, Lagos, Kano and Enugu.
