NIGERIA: Jet Support Services Aircraft Regain Freedom as NCAA Lifts Suspension

While others are being suspended and grounded from operations, some are set free as the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has released an aircraft (G-PABO) belonging to Jet support services which was grounded under Spec part G. of the air operations certificate, due to non compliance and violations of provision of NCARS part 9.2.3.4 (b).

The notice sent to Airmen (NOTAM) from the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) Aeronautical Telecommunication Service dated today 7th July, 2020 to all stations with text AA0032/04071819 releasing the aircraft to fly read:

“The DG-NCAA has that G-PABO, CL604 belonging to Jet Support Services that was erroneously included among the grounded aircraft via signal no AA0041/03072005, hence the aircraft is released with immediate effect to resume normal operations. Please act accordingly. Regards.”

The aircraft, a Challenger CL604 is released to start service operations with immediate effect from July 7, 2020.
