A flight to New York was disrupted and passengers evacuated on arrival after a bomb threat.
The Aeroflot service had departed Moscow in Russia and landed at JFK airport at around 3.50pm EST on 6 December.
According to the Port Authority Police Department, the 250 passengers on board were evacuated following the threat.
“Due to an ongoing incident, emergency personnel and activity may be observed at #JFK airport,” the airport account tweeted on Sunday.
It added that the airport was still “fully open and flights are operating without delays”.
Once the passengers had deplaned, police swept the aircraft for any potential devices but found nothing onboard.
Authorities said the investigation was still ongoing.
